The rules that keep our forums fair, focused, and worth being in. By taking part — as a founder, attendee, sponsor, or investor — you agree to the standards below.
The Agreement
By using foundersnetwork.ch, applying to pitch, registering to attend, or contacting us as a sponsor or investor, you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
Who Can Apply to Pitch
The Youth Entrepreneurship Forum is designed for student founders. To apply, you must:
- Be currently enrolled at, or recently graduated from, a recognised school or university.
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Provide accurate information about yourself, your team, and your project.
Selection & Speaking Positions
Applications are reviewed on merit, originality, and fit with the edition's theme. Selection is at the sole discretion of the Founders Network team.
Approved speakers must submit a final pitch deck within one week of approval to confirm their position. Failure to do so releases the slot to another applicant.
A speaker fee may apply per edition. The current fee is shown on the application page and is non-refundable once a slot is confirmed, except where a forum is cancelled by us.
Attendee Conduct
Forums are intimate, professional environments. By attending, you agree to:
- Treat speakers, fellow attendees, sponsors, and investors with respect.
- Honour the discretion of the room — do not record or share private conversations.
- Follow venue rules and reasonable instructions from the organising team.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone whose behaviour is disruptive, harassing, or unsafe.
Intellectual Property
All content on this site — copy, branding, photography, the Founders Network mark — is owned by us or used with permission. You may share excerpts with attribution, but you may not republish or commercialise it without prior written approval.
Pitch decks, white papers, and ideas you submit remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to display them to our review team and, with your consent, to invited investors.
Photography & Recording
Forums and after-parties may be photographed or filmed for editorial and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in our materials, let a member of the team know on arrival and we will respect that.
Changes & Cancellation
We may reschedule, relocate, or cancel an edition for reasons outside our control (force majeure, venue changes, public health). In such cases, we will notify registered participants and, where applicable, refund speaker fees.
Liability
The Network is provided on a best-effort basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your participation in a forum or use of this website.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any dispute will be settled by the competent courts of Geneva, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
