Founders Network ("we", "us", "the Network") operates the Youth Entrepreneurship Forum, a recurring student pitch event launched in Geneva, Switzerland. This Privacy Policy applies to data collected through our website, application forms, and on-site interactions at our forums.

We collect only what we need to run the forum and stay in touch with our community:

• Identity & contact — name, email, phone, school, social handles.
• Application data — startup details, idea, team members, pitch deck, white paper.
• Audience registration — interests, attendance status, communication preferences.
• Sponsor & investor enquiries — company information and the message you send us.
• Technical data — basic logs and cookies needed to keep the site working.

Your data is used to:

• Review pitch applications and confirm speaking positions.
• Manage event registrations, attendance, and seating.
• Send updates about upcoming forums, after-parties, and editions in new cities.
• Respond to sponsor and investor enquiries.
• Improve our forums, programming, and website experience.

We never sell your data. We do not share applicant information publicly without consent.

We rely on your consent (collected at the moment you submit a form), our legitimate interest in running the forum, and the performance of our agreement with you when you participate as a speaker, attendee, sponsor, or investor.

Access is limited to:

• The Founders Network organising team.
• Investors invited to a specific edition — only with your explicit consent and only the data needed to evaluate your pitch.
• Trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, email, analytics) bound by confidentiality.

We keep application and registration data for as long as you remain part of the community, or up to 24 months after the last forum you engaged with. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Under Swiss FADP and the EU GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain uses of your data. You may also withdraw consent at any time.

We use modern encryption and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data with the same discretion we ask our investors to bring to the room.

We may update this document as the Network grows. Material changes are announced on the website and, where appropriate, by email. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
